Field hockey
You cannot move a turf game to a grass field.
A fall season on a surface you share with soccer and lacrosse and cannot substitute, in a program that is usually small, often grew out of a school team, and finds out late whether it has enough players to field the age groups it advertised.
Three things that bite in field hockey.
- The turf is shared, specific, and booked by somebody else.
- Venues and fields as real records with availability, so a reallocation is an edit that reaches every family and coach at once rather than a text thread per team.
- A goalie kit costs more than a season fee and belongs to the club.
- Equipment issued and returned per player, so the most expensive thing you own is a record rather than a memory of who had it last.
- You need to know early whether the season runs at all.
- Registration with real numbers as they come in, capacity on the forms, and an interest list for the age group that is one player short — so the decision is made on data in August rather than a guess in July.
The rest is the same for every sport.
Registration and payments, payment plans, teams and roster offers, scheduling, communication, volunteering, equipment, your store, check-in at the door and reports — one flat $750 a year, with no size tiers.

Already on another platform? pages in their old site became pages worth keeping when we ported a real association. What moving involves.
See it with a field hockey season in it.
